Kato, a developer of software for helping to create a single, unified messaging system for the enterprise which ties together browsers, mobile apps, and more, has raised a round of funding, according to investor Foundry Group. Financial details of the investment were not disclosed. Kato, which was founded by Andrei Soroker and Peter Hizalev, has created messaging software aimed at small team chat, and which includes search and archiving features and integration with other real-time data APIs.
