Untangle, which provides network software and appliances for small business security, has acquired
Cymphonix, a developer of network appliances used for bandwidth management, network management, and security. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Cymphonix was founded in 2004, and was venture backed by Intel Capital, Prospector Equity Capital, and vSpring Capital. Untangle is backed by Citrix, CMEA Ventures, and Rustic Canyon Partners.
