EcoFactor Gets $10M In Series B
Redwood City-based EcoFactor, a developer of home energy monitoring services, has raised $10M in a funding round. The company said its Series B was led by NRG Energy, and also included Claremont Creek Ventures, RockPort Capital Partners, and Aster Capital. EcoFactor develops systems used to help collect residential energy data, from thermostats, utilities, and others, to help utilities manage energy efficiency and demand response programs. The firm said the new funds goes towards development of new services, engineering and sales staff, and other efforts.
