Aria Systems Gains $40M
San Francisco-based cloud-based, recurring billing software provider Aria Systems said today that it has raised $40M in a fourth round of funding. The funding was led by Bain Capital Ventures, and also included Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Interwest Partners, Tugboat Ventures, Venrock, and VMware. The company said the new round brings its total raised to $83M. Salil Deshpande of Bain joins Aria's board with the funding. Aria develops software to help companies manage subscriptions, tiered services, and other recurring revenue.
