Datameer Finds $19M
San Mateo-based Datameer, a developer of business intelligence reporting tools for the Hadoop and Big Data analytics market, said it has raised $19M in a Series D funding round. The funding was led by Next World Capital, and also included Workday, Citi Ventures, Software AG, as well as Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Redpoint Ventures. Next Worl's Ben Fu joins Datameer's board as part of the funding.
