Jaguar Animal Health Raises $2M
San Francisco-based Jaguar Animal Health, a developer of prescription pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals for the veterinary marketplace, said it has raised $2M in a funding round. The fundin came from BioVeda China Fund. According to Jagura, it also has received seed funding from Napo Pharmaceuticals. Jaguar said it expects to receive another $3M from BioVeda by the end of the month. Jagura said it is commercializing products from plants used traditionally in rain forest areas.
