Vium, a developer of products which are aimed at helping allows pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to conduct animal studies, has raised $24M in a Series B funding round. The funding came from Lux Capital and Data Collective (DCVC), plus Dolby Family Ventures, Founders Fund, and Tony Fadell's Future Shape LLC. The company says it has created a product called "The Digital Vivarium", which lets researchers with 24/7 video capture, automated data acquisition and reporting, and other aspects of animal testing.
