Touchstone Semiconductor Acquired By Silicon Labs
Milpitas-based Touchstone Semiconductor, a developer of low power analog IC products, has been acquired by Silicon Labs. The deal was an asset purchase, and was worth $1.5M. Silicon Labs, which makes analog and mixed signal ICs, said it will continue to offer products from Touchstone under its own name, and also plans to expand the product line. Touchstone had been venture backed by Opus Capital and Khosla Ventures, and had raised around $12.0M in funding.
