Readmill Acquired By Dropbox, To Shut Down
Readmill, a developer of social reading apps for iOS and Android, has been acquired by Dropbox, the company announced Friday, and will be shutting down its services and turning away new users. According to the company, Dropbox has hired its team, to tap into the company's expertise in reading, collaboration and syncing across devices. Readmill's founders--in a post to users--said it "failed to create a sustainable platform for reading" and apologized to its users.
