Seagate Buys Xyratex
Cupertino-based Seagate said this week that it has completed its acquisition of data storage testing equipment provider Xyratex. Seagate said the acquisition will add revenues of approximately $500M to $600M. Xyratex will be removed from the NASDAQ stock market after the acquisition. Seagate was advised by Allen & Company and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in the deal.
