Twitter Buys Gnip For Social Data APIs
Twitter has acquired social data provider Gnip, accoridng to the companies this morning. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Gnip is a major provider of third party, API access to Twitter's firehose of data. The company was venture backed by First Round Capital, Foundry Group, and SoftTech VC and was based in Boulder, Colorado.
