Wanderful Media Finds $14.5M
Los Gatos-based Wanderful, a developer of web- and mobile-based software to let shoppers browse through circulars and advertisements online, has raised $14.5M in new funding, the company said today. The funding said the funding came from its existing media company investors, bringing its total raised to $50.5M. Wanderful powers the "Find & Save" sites of a long list of newspapers, which highlights advertising circulars for retailers. The firm's backers include Advance Digital, A. H. Belo Corporation, Community Newspaper Holdings Inc., Cox Media Group, The E. W. Scripps Company, Gannett Co., Inc., GateHouse Media, Inc., Graham Holdings Co., Hearst Corporation, Lee Enterprises, MediaNews Group and The McClatchy Company.
