Google Backs Tamr
Google's venture capital arm, Google Ventures, the the co-lead on an investment in enterprise data software developer Tamr, Tamr said Tuesday. Tamr said the new round brings in $16M for the company. The funding was co-led by New Enterprise Associates. Both Google and NEA are existing investors in Tamr, which is based in Massachusetts. Tamr was founded by Andy Palmer and Michael Stonebraker.
