Cambrios Adds $10M From Samsung
Sunnvyale-based Cambrios, a developer of silver nanowire technology used in touch panel displays, OLED lighting tiles, and solar cells, has raised $10M more in a strategic funding, the company said this week. The funding came from Samsung Venture Investment Corporation (SVIC). Cambrios said the new investment comes on top of an earlier, $5M round from SVIC it received in 2011. Cambrios says its materials are a replacement for the prior generation of transparent conductive materials like indium tin oxide (ITO).
