Siva Power Snags $15M For Thin Film Solar
San Jose-based Siva Power, a developer of thin film solar technology, said Wednesday that it has raised $15M in an investment round. The company said the funding came from Trident Capital, DBL Investors and Acero Capital, as well as the city of Wuxi, China. Siva Power is led by Brad Mattson; the company said it believes its thin film solar technology can surpass the current DOE SunShot Initiative of $0.50/watt, at less than $0.40/watt in full production.
