San Francisco-based AppDynamics has raised $120M in a growth funding round, the company said Tuesday, for the company's application monitoring tools. The funding was led by Battery Ventures, ClearBridge Investments and Sands Capital. Prior backers Greylock Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and Institutional Venture Partners also participated in the funding, which brings the company's total raised to $200M. The funding included $50M in venture debt from Silicon Valley bank. AppDynamics is led by Jyoti Bansal. The funding apparently valued the company north of $1 billion.
