Nirmidas Biotech Finds $2M
San Francisco-based Nirmidas Biotech, a company developing technology for detecting disease biomarkers, has raised $2m in a seed funding round. The company--which is based on research out of Stanford--said the funding came from the Stanford StartX fund, as well as other un-named venture investors. The company says it is developing fluorescence enhancing technology for gold slides, which it calls pGOLD.
