High Gear Media Acquired By Internet Brands
Menlo Park-based High Gear Media, the online publisher behind The Car Connection, Motor Authority, and Green Car Reports, has been acquired. According to Internet Brands, it has acquired High Gear Media to bolster its collection of automotive sites. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. High Gear Media was backed by Accel Partners, DAG Ventures, and Greylock Partners.
