Sunnyvale-based Yahoo has acquired Bookpad, a developer of cloud-based document hosting and editing software, in a deal worth approximately $8.3M, according to reports from Bangalore, India, where Bookpad is based. Bookpad develops software that allows document embedding, annotations and editing in enterprise applications.
