Snowflake Gets $26M For Cloud Data Warehouse

Snowflake Computing
announced this morning that it has raised $26M in a funding round, to go towards the company's cloud data warehouse service. The startup--led by Bob Muglia--said the Series B funding came from Redpoint Ventures, Sutter Hill Ventures and Wing Ventures. The funding will go towards expanding its team, product development, and other efforts. Snowflake provides a SQL-based, data warehouse service aimed at the big data market.
