Spikes Security Takes $11M For Web Browser Security
Los Gatos-based Spikes Security, which develops malware isolation appliances and software used to keep malware from attacking corporate browsers, has raised $11M in a Series A funding round. The funding came from Lakewood & Company, Benhamou Global Ventures, and Javelin Venture Partners. The company said it will use the funding for development and sales. Spikes was founded by Branden Spikes, who has previously served as CIO of SpaceX and PayPal.
