Topera Acquired By Abbott
Menlo Park-based Topera, a developer of electrophysiology technology used to treat atrial fibrillation, has been acquired by Abott, Abbott said this morning. Abbott said it will pay $250M upfront, plus unspecified earnout for Topera. Topera was venture backed by New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and other investors.
