Trimble Buys UK Construction Software Developer
Sunnyvale-based Trimble said this morning that it has acquired UK-based Amtech Group Limited, a developer of software for the construction industry. Financial details of the deal were not announced. Amtech develop software used for the specification, design, estimating, procurement, construction management and operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction businesses. Trimble said that Amtech will become part of its Engineering and Construction segment.
