San Francisco-based
Instacart, which offers up an on-demand, grocery delivery app and service, disclosed today that it has raised $220M in a Series C funding round. The funding was led by Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers, and also included Comcast Ventures, Dragoneer Investment Group, Thrive Capital, Valiant Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Khosla Ventures and Sequoia Capital, among others. The deal reportedly values Instacart at around $2 billion. Instacart is led by Apoorva Mehta.
