AnchorFree Buys JustVPN and TouchVPN
Mountain View-based AnchorFree, a developer of virtual private network (VPN)) software and security tools, said Thursday that it has acquired JustVPN and TouchVPN, two of the company's competitors. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. AnchorFree said both of those companies become subsidiaries of AnchorFree GmbH. AnchorFree's software is used primarily at public Wi-Fi sites, to encrypt data between a user's device and the Internet.
