Sidecar Shifts Towards Delivery
San Francisco-based Sidecar, the ridesharing service which has been fighting a difficult head to head battle with Uber, is looking to shift up to fifty percent of its business to same day delivery. Sidecar said it will begin offering up same day delivery of products for companies, at a price that is 80 percent cheaper than traditional services, expanding on a beta it had running in San Francisco. The company said the deliveries are currently 10 percent of ride volumes in San Francisco.
