Lyft Raises $530M From Rakuten, Others
San Francisco-based Lyft has raised $530M in a Series E funding round, led by Rakuten, Rakuten said this morning. Rakuten said it is taking a 11.9 percent stake in Lyft, investing $300M in Lyft as part of the larger, Series E funding round. Lyft said the funds go towards continuing to grow its service and invest in both domestic and international markets.
