Lyft confirmed its $100M equity funding deal with Chinese ridesharing company
Didi Kuaidi on Wednesday. Lyft said that it is in a strategic partnership with Didi Kuaidi which will lalow Lyft app users to use the app when they travel to China, with a similar exchange with Didi Kuaidi on its own apps. Lyft said the Didi Kuaidi investment is part of the same financing round led by Rakuten, announced earlier this year, which included Carl Icahn, Alibaba, and Tencent.
