FutureAdvisor Acquired By BlackRock
San Francisco-based wealth management and personalized investment advice software developer FutureAdvisor has been acquired by BlackRock, the two said Wednesday. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. BlackRock said that FutureAdvisor will become a business under its BlackRock Solutions investment and risk management arm. FutureAdvisor had previously raised capital from Canvas Venture Fund and Sequoia Capital, and had been founded by Bo Lu and Jon Xu.
