South San Francisco-based biofuels developer
LS9 has been acquired by
Renewable Energy Group, in a deal worth $61.5M. According to Renewable Energy Group, it will continue to operate LS9 out of its headquarters in South San Francisco, under the new name REG Life Sciences. LS9 had raised over $86M in funding, and had been backed by BlackRock, CTTV Investments, Flagship Ventures, Khosla Ventures, and Lightspeed Ventures.
