San Francisco-based AppDirect, a developer of cloud services management software, said it has acquire app management platform developer AppCarousel. Financial terms of the deal were not announced. AppCarousel was based in Calgary and San Francisco, and developed app management platforms for connected cars and fleets, smartphones, smart screens, tablets, and other connected devices. AppDirect said it will hire AppCarousel's more tha0 employees, to work on its connected cloud service products. AppDirect is led by Daniel Sacks, AppCarousel was led by Emanuel Bertolin.
