Neumob Gets $8.5M For Smartphone App Acceleration
Sunnyvale-based Neumob, a developer of software to help accelerate apps running on smartphones, has raised $8.5M in a Series A funding, the company said last week. The funding was led by Accel Partners, and also included Shasta Ventures, Eniac Ventures and Lightbank Ventures. The company is led by Jeff Kim, who formerly was at content delivery network provides Akamai, BitGravity and CDNetworks.
