Area 1 Security Lands $15M
Redwood City-based Area 1 Security said Wednesday that it has raised $15M in a Series B funding, for the company's stealth cybersecurity technology. The funding was led by Icon Ventures and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. The company says it has now raised $25.5M in total. Icon's involvement was led by Joe Horowitz, and KPCB's by Ted Schlein.
