Salesforce Buys MinHash
San Francisco-based Salesforce has acquired Palo Alto-based MinHash, a developer of machine learning software aimed at the marketing sector. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. MinHash said it will be shutting down its existing service as of January 21st, 2016. The company said in a message on its site that it will "pursue our passion for search, data science and machine learning on a much broader scale" at Salesforce.
