San Francisco-based
Wingz, an on-demand transportation startup which helps drivers provide airport pickup and dropoff using their own cars for scheduled rides, said today that it has raised $11M in a Series B funding round. The funding came from Expedia, Altimeter Capital, and Marc Benioff of Salesforce.com. Wingz says it offer up fixed price, door-to-door airport rides from screened, local residents who use their own vehicles.
