Google said today that it is launching a major, free Wi-Fi offer at airports across the country, including San Jose. According to Google, it will provide free, airport Wi-Fi at 47 airports, including Las Vegas, San Jose, Boston, Baltimore, Burbank, Houston, Indianapolis, Seattle, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, St. Louis and Charlotte, until January 15th. Google said it is working with Boingo Wireless, Advanced Wireless Group, and Airport Marketing Income and others as part of the effort. Google said it hopes the offer will make traveling and connecting with friends and family a little bit easier.
