Zoomdata Finds $25M For Big Data Visualization Tools
Redwood City-based Zoomdata, which develops visual analytics software for the big data market, has raised $25M in a Series C funding. The funding was led by Goldman Sachs' Principal Strategic Investments Group and also included Comcast Ventures, Accel, Columbus Nova Technology Partners, NEA and Razor's Edge. Rana Yared of Goldman Sachs joins the company's board, and Hilary Packer of Goldman joins the company's Advisory Board. Zoomdata is led by Justin Langseth.
