GridGain Connects With $15M
Foster City-based GridGain, a developer of in-memory data processing software, has raised $15M in a Series B funding, the company said this morning. The funding was led by Sberbank and MoneyTime Ventures, and also included Almaz Capital and RTP Ventures. MoneyTime's Victor Orlovski joins the company's board as part of the funding. GridGain helps to develop the Apache Ignite open source project, and is led by Abe Kleinfeld.
