Cisco Acquires Synata
San Jose-based Cisco announced earlier this week that it has acquired San Francisco-based Synata, a developer of search technology. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Synata said it has terminated all of its services as of March 6th. Cisco said that Synata's team will help enhance its business collaboration service, Cisco Spark.
