EdCast Acquires Sales University
Mountain View-based online learning startup EdCast announced this morning that it has acquire Seattle-based Sales University, which develops sales training apps used by salespeople and enterprise companies. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Sales University was founded in 2011 by former Microsoft engineers, and was backed by angels, and also was part of the Microsoft Ventures Accelerator. Sales University was led by co-founder and CEO Kalpit Jain. EdCast is backed by GE Asset Management and Softbank Capital.
