Udemy Gets $60M From Naspers
San Francisco-based Udemy, which operates an online learning site, said Thursday that it has raised $60M from Naspers, via Naspers Ventures. As part of the funding, Larry Illg, CEO of Naspers Ventures, joins the company's board. Naspers is a large, international media and entertainment investor. The company said the new capital will specifically go towards inernational growth. The company said the new funding is part of its earlier, $65M Series D financing it announced in June of last year.
