Noms, disclosed on Tuesday that it has raised $8.1M in a Series A funding round. The funding was led by Greylock partners, and also included Harrison Metal and angels. The company was founded by Aaron Boodman, Rafael Weinstein, Erik Arvidsson, Chris Masone, Dan Willhite, Benjamin Kalman, and Mike Gray. The database is written in Go, and runs on Mac OS X and Linux.
