Uber Buys Self Driving Truck Startup Otto
San Francisco-based Uber said on Thursday that it has acquired Otto, a startup developing self driving trucks. Otto had been developing self driving trucks, which were aimed at the logistics industry, inn a collaboration with Uber and its self driving vehicle group in Pittsburgh. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced.
