Uber Buys JUMP Bikes
San Francisco-based Uber said on Monday that it has acquired JUMP Bikes, which operates an electric, dockless bike sharing service in San Francisco. Financial details of the buy were not announced. Unconfirmed reports place the price at between $100M and $200M. Uber said the buy is part of an effor to bring together "multiple modes of transportation" within the Uber app.
