Intermedia Acquired From Oak Hill By Madison Dearborn
Mountain View-based Intermedia.net, a developer of cloud-based applications, including Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Office, has been acquired by private equity investor Madison Dearborn Partners. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Intermedia had been owned by Oak Hill Capital Partners. Intermedia is a provider of cloud-based, Microsoft Exchange email services. Intermedia's advisors on the deal were Deutsche Bank and J.P. Morgan, along with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. MDP's advisors were Evercore, SunTrust Robison Humphrey, TD Securities with financing, plus Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Covington & Burling LLP.
