API.AI Acquired By Google
Palo Alto-based API.AI (aka Speaktoit Inc.), a developer of artificial intelligence software to create conversational chatbots, has been acquired by Google, the two said on Monday. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. API.AI was led by CEO Ilya Gelfenbeyn, and had been founded in 2014.
