Airbnb Raises $555M In Funding From Google Capital, TCV
San Francisco-based Airbnb has raised $555M as part of a larger funding round, led by Google Capital and Technology Crossover Ventures, according to both a regulatory filing and details leaked to the press. The funding is part of a larger, $850M funding round, according to the WSJ. The filing indicates 27 investors invested a total of $555,462,180 in the round; the WSJ reported at least an additional $200M was purchased from existing Airbnb employees.
