Indio Gets $2M For Commercial Insurance Software

, which is developing a commercial insurance marketplace and related tools, has raised $2M in a seed funding round. The funding came from NEA, Compound, Merus Capital and 500 Startups, along with insurer Hiscox. The company says it is developing technology to streamflow the workflow of commercial insurance brokers. The company was founded by Paul Butler (Marin Software), Michael Furlong (Sliced Investing) and Matthew Watson (Citigroup).
