Hornet Hooks Up With $8M
San Francisco-based Hornet, which develops a mobile, gay social network, has raised $8M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by Ventech China. The company says it has 3 million monthly active users of its app. The startup is led by Christof Wittig. Eric Huet of Ventech joins Hornet's board with the funding.
