Osterhaut Design Group Gets $58M For Augmented Reality Glasses

Osterhaut Design Group
(ODG), a developer of augmented reality sunglasses, has raised $58M in a Series A funding, the company said today. The funding was led by 21st Century Fox, and also included Shenzhen O-film Tech Co., Ltd., Vanfund Urban Investment & Development Co. Ltd. and individuals. The company said it was advised by Moelis & Company LLC in the transaction. The company was founded back in 1999, and has 80 employees as of October.
